QuikTrip moving forward with area plans

As we were first to report, QT is planning to expand to our area with Travel Centers on the southwest corner of NW 27th & I-35 in Moore and on the southwest corner of Hefner & I-35 in north OKC.

The company has purchased the property at both locations and has now sent their Moore plans to contractors for pricing, which indicates they are close to getting started.

The Hefner location shouldn't be far behind and there may be future locations in the Yukon and Midwest City areas along I-40, but no property has been purchased as of yet.

Typical QT stores average about 5,000 square feet but Remote Travel Centers are around 8,000 SF.

Fresh food is a focal point and Travel Centers feature an expanded Kitchens concept, offering made-to-order food, premium specialty drinks, frozen treats and more.

Established in 1958, QuikTrip is approaching 1,000 locations in 15 states.
