In the northernmost reaches of Oklahoma City, the historic Heritage Hills neighborhood is around one mile north of the center of downtown. It is a just west of I-235 between NW 14th and NW 21st street. It is bounded by Robinson to the east and stretches west to Walker and Classen.
Residents of Heritage Hills make up half of the Historic Communities Protection Association (HNSA). HNSA is a non-profit organization that supervises uniformed Oklahoma City police officers on a dedicated patrol. The community Board of Directors also serves on urban security advocacy programs and reviews security details and region studies.
Every year, the Association Board of Heritage Hills selects community members who have poured plenty of love and caring into their households and the area in particular. Participants are revealed at the yearly meeting in January and granted a special large plate that they will proudly hang at their home.
