A 102-acre vehicle inspection and refinishing center near Will Rogers Airport is being planned by online used car retailer Carvana.

Maintenance and repair centers placed every vehicle through a process of 150-point inspection and minor repair of the body to prepare it for sale. If a vehicle is licensed, the company uses automated photo booths that capture any vehicle submitted to the company's website for a 360-degree exterior and interior virtual tour.

In 2017, when residents were able to take home delivery of any of the company's cars, Oklahoma City became the 30th US market for Carvana. The same year, the company went public and began trading on the New York Stock Exchange and now serves over 250 markets worldwide.
In November of 2019, on Memorial Road just east of Pennsylvania Avenue, Carvana launched the state's first vending machine.

Usually, no transactions are carried out at maintenance and refinishing sites, and the public can not go there to pick up a vehicle.
Cars are maintained on the site until delivered to the home of a customer, a designated location, or one of the business's famous automobile-dispensing towers.
A broad track at 5500 S is the proposed site. Rockwell, which is actually occupied by an oilfield supply company. Some Carvana centers of this size hire approximately 400 workers and entail an investment of $25 million.
